Whistler Real Estate Market Update - Summer Sales Report - July and August 2013 Real Estate Sales in Whistler, B.C.

It has been a very busy summer in Whistler with one world class event after the other! With record breaking sunny periods over July, a steady Canadian economy  and a stagnant Vancouver housing market we are are seeing a very healthy spike in buyer activity in Whistler! With the improvements to the Sea to Sky Highway and the affordability in Whistler we are seeing upwards of 80% of the property buyers are coming from the lower mainland of Vancouver!

There were 51 sales to date in August and 49 in July. Overall inventory is way down 40% from the peak of 2010!
