The above photos are of a controlled avalanche that occurred in Harmony Zone on Whistler Mountain. This area is currently outside Whistler Blackcomb's Temporary Ski Area Boundary. It was intentionally triggered by Whistler Blackcomb ski patrol as they conducted avalanche control with explosives.
